Santa Claus: for my avid FANs !!! GPGT be prepared for a gastronomic experience !!!
Why Santa Claus leh?
Because today i try to meet up as many buyers for the MO. One of the buyers bought 24 items and i had to carry a big bag. The meeting point was at Somerset MRT.
Morning woke up, found out it was lunar first of the month. Cleaned the altar, teacups, make new tea and pray. After that washed the dishes then took a bath and headed Amoy street for breakfast.
This was the second time i headed "Amoy Street Hawker centre".
Why head to the CBD on weekends?

Once i was watching a repeated telecast for "Channel U $2 Wonderfood" on SCV channel 69. Its an old programme hosted by Ben where he take the viewers to places selling good food at $2.
That particular episode was on "Lor Mee". I remembered 2 stalls, 1 had added shark meat and 1 was proclaimed the KING of Lor MEE !!!
Why king of Lor Mee?
This owner had been selling Lor Mee for 40-50years or more.
Business are so good they need to rent 2 stalls.

These type of yellow noodles are thick and reek of akali smell.
I only eat noodles like wantone mee, instant noodles which are thin and springy QQ. The $2 serving is alot, consider for me a great eater. After eating the Lor Mee headed downstairs for more great food.

After eating at Amoy Street, took a train from Tanjong Pagar to Bugis. My mum went cold storage to used up the $50 gift voucher from buying the fridge. Another madness shopping spree. Spent $17 on sushis, bought Ben & Jerry Ice-cream ...

After buying the stuff, I headed city hall to meet 1 buyer and then to Somerset to meet the rest. After the guys collected their stuff Kai and I headed to Orchard Meriden food court to eat Korean food. Kai said the Korean food is good and me came here a few times.
Look at the huge serving of pork set for $7!!!
After that went PS to walk around, went to eat Parklane Wanton Mee and also to see the shops selling transformers. After eating the delicious wanton mee went to the most poisonous place.

Because when you go there you feel like buying everything LOL!.
I got antidote for this poison.
After squeezing with the crowd at SLS, felt like go play LAN game or go home sleep. Kai felt hungry and wanted to go Grandlink near my house to see any place selling good food. Reached Grandlink saw all the LAN shops for member then Kai say lets go eat Chou Tofu, smelly tofu.
I say WTF, you trying to kill me ar
Still remembered last year went Taiwan for training went Kaoshiung Liu He night market, the smell of the smelly tofu reeked from 50ms away. KNN i felt like vomiting.
In the end went to eat smelly toufo LOL !!!
Actually my second time here, the first time was with my secondary school mates almost 7ys back. We reached the shop, but hey not smell.
KNN, when the lady delivered the toufu, I wanna puke, it smells like LAO SAI!!! Waited a while, to get used to the smelly and after eating hey tasted not bad as the toufu was very crispy. We also deep fried intestines.

After ate toufu went to eat beancurd at famous Rochor stall which was nearby.
Ordered 2 bean curd and 1 soyabean milk.
I prefer this stall to famous geylang "Yong He" which operates 24/7. The standard of the beancurd at Rochor is consistent while Yong He's depends. The beancurd was so smooth that it just melts in the mouth.

Last thursday was my off day, so accompanied my mum and sister to SIM to register.
Spent almost 2.5hs just talking to the admission officer to get everything done. Initally she told us registration closed. I told her you said that if UK accepts her, SIM will welcome her anytime. Now UOL accepted the 50pound bank draft and her, so are you going back on your promise?
We then printed out the email correspondence between her and UOL. The admission officer checked with the director and finally gave me the SIM registration form.
I also in the customer service line, I know how you think.

After registration around 330pm. Took a bus to AMK HUB. We walked around and saw at the foyer, they were having a small food fair. There were stalls selling portugese egg tarts, malt sugar(mai ya tang), turkish ice-cream, thai food ...
I saw the Thai stall selling my favourite "Mango with glutinous rice". So I ordered 1 set and 2 thai popiahs.
I don't know the mango and glutinous rice thai name, but it was good eating it with coconut milk. The thai popiah was unusual as it had more fillings.
After walking around AMK HUB, headed for the hawker centre near Jubilee. One of my favourite hawker centre. They sell good zi char, nice western food, japanese and thai food. The Japanese food is afforable for the taste. A set would come with rice, tofu and miso soup.
I ordered Ebi Fry set, Chicken Katsu Set and pork chop hor fun. The Ebi fry set was first time trying, not too bad serving had 6 prawns. The pork chop hor fun only got pork chop and hor fun. We had a heavy dinner and took a long bus-ride home.

One of the greatest movie ever made, bringing back the childhood memories of many.
Managed to catch this show with Royston, though it he would be watching twice. We went to Suntec to watch the digital version. The movie was an epic with great visual effects of fighting scenes. Never really enjoyed watching a show equally good as this.
Hope there's a sequel.
1 bad point is the fighting scene too fast. At a blink of the eye you missed the fighting scene and the robots transforming.

He is one of my most admired and respected wrestlers after the Undertaker.

I lived in the time where my childhood was watching then WWF. Seeing legends like Undertaker, Jake the Snake Robert, Macho Man, Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley ... entertain me. Mind you i was only in primary school.
There was only 2 wrestler which are my idols, Undertaker and Chris Benoit.
Undertaker for his undead endurance. You can never tire him and he will never die. He just never lose. I like his finisher move "The Last Ride", whereby he holds the throat of his opponent, lift him and slams him to the ground. Undertaker was repackaged many times. Earliest with Paul Bearer where they make his entrance scene spooky with Paul Bearer with the URN. I guess he was the 1 who introduce casket fight. The other image was like being a biker, riding his harley down to the ring damn cool. He got a tattoo "Sara" on his neck wonder if its his wife?
Chris Benoit a very technical wrestler but never use underhand methods unlike the American Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle who uses underhand methods to win. Benoit finisher move "Crippler Crossface". To execute this move, you need to make your opponent fall to the ground the cross over your feet over his arm and do a tight lock across his face. The success rate of a submission is 95%. Most of them big matches, Benoit lose is because some idiot intefere when he do a crossface or some ass knocks out the referee.

Uncle new rig
Abit wasted his computer bought for 3 yrs hardly use then spoil again.
I estimated used less than 100X.

He wanted to get a SFF. I was explaining to him as your computer is hardly utilised a basic system is necessary and a SFF system can easily costs 1k even with entry level components. Trying to help him cut costs.
Last Friday went SLS to scout for new PC. Met him around 130pm and walk around to see the various casing. Finally decided on a SFF-system look alike at BELL and it only costs $115 with a AcBel True Power 350W PSU.

New entertainment
With the lack of quality programmes on television and horrible crap shit reality shows like "Campus superstar, Singapore Idol 2 ..." I decided to apply for cable TV.
I could have applied cable tv like years back. However now working and local channel like shit, just apply to see worth it ornot.
I signed up for 3 basic groups consisting of 1 education channel and 2 chinese group and an additional add on HK Drama. First week of subscription, got to view all the channels very interesting.
Took 2 chinese groups because wanna watch those Taiwanese vareity show "Guess X3, Big Brother ... " In the end these are my fav channels
Channel 72 Discovery Real Time
Damn cool channel talking about cars, bikes, planes, fishing ...
Programmes on building a car from scratch, showing vintage cars, modern supercars ... Its more like a hobby channel. Theres a programme on fishing and there would be experts advice on how to fish. A show on model trains, where some people make a replica of the mountain with the tracks and trains very interesting.
Channel 71 Discovery Science
Another cool channel focusing about science.
Alot of interesting facts on our daily life, the unexplained like hauntings and UFOs, our solar system, great machines, how things are amde ...
UFOs, some years back, an UFO crashed and the US military found 4 bodies of the alien s.
In the recent years scientists had founded 7 new planets. Juipter due to its strong gravitational pull had been protecting Earth from meteorites.

This channel shows some of HK latest drama. Bought this channel for my sis who is a HK drama fanatic. We grew up watching HK dramas.

Sick aftermath
After the second prescription of anti-biotic, my fever subsided FINALLY! It feels damn terrible to be sick, feeling pain , aching and very lethargic. You feel sleepy but you cannot sleep, feel hungry but no appetite. Having high fever still must go buy meals for mum and sister bo pian.
I remembered last year, i had fever and temperature was 40 deg and still had to go driving lesson. Cannot cancel mah, waste money LANLAN. Wah feel damn terrible you are so sick and need to be aware of the road conditions.
My doctor say its too early to diagnose if its dengue fever. From my previous medical records, my fever would subsided after the first visit.
I think now my body weaker since i ORD. Lack of excerise, healthy diet and stress-free life. Now when working stay in air-con room for nearly 13hs, sit day for few hours never walk around. Been months since i kick a ball.
1) I WANT TO GO PLAY SOCCER
2) I WANT TO GO CYCLING
3) I MUST AVOID AIRCON ROOM.
But seems like alot of people are also sick.
Doctor told me if dengue after fever subsided the body would appear rashes.
Now my fever subsided but dun have rashes on body. However i would feel itchiness that i never experienced before. I also got a cough that lasted a week. Whenever i cough, my head and stomach feels pain.
Please help me out of the misery.
